Job Responsibilities:
- Drive vehicles to various destinations while applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area.
- Maintain a neat and orderly storage lot to maximize efficiency in servicing the production facility and warehouse.
- Operate yard truck in a safe manner during numerous roll-on/roll-off procedures daily involving loaded and empty containers.
- Must function and interact on a daily basis with plant personnel and comply with plant safety requirements.
- Communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with dispatch, operations, and plant personnel.
- Ensure trailers are secure and communicate damages to leadership team for issues to be resolved in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
- Monitor storage trailer volume and communicate consolidation opportunities to management.
- Move empty or loaded bobtails efficiently and safely to desired locations on TSV property.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Years of Experience: 3 or more years of experience
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office preferred
