Job Description:

• We currently have an opportunity for a proactive Senior Quality Control Officer experienced in leading high performing teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivery & development of effective and consistent quality assurance systems to our Perth Distribution Centre meeting all regulatory compliance with product quality and labeling specifications set by the Woolworths quality assurance team and Government Legislation as well as customer requirements.
• Reporting to the Fruit & Veg Operations Manager, you will build partnerships with the Distribution Centre, Buying and Store teams. Our aim is to bring to life the values of the FreshFood People, by continually improving the quality of fruit and vegetables for stores and customers.
• Using your strong people leadership skills, commercial acumen and proactive approach, we are looking at you to build the capability in the team and be the driving force behind continuous improvement initiatives in food safety and quality.
• Providing the Fruit and Veg leadership team with key metrics and valuable insights feedback for the purposes of recognition and development opportunities.

• The experience as a Senior Quality Control Specialist means you can be creative, adapting your application of best quality assurance practice to influence stakeholders and supplier partners for optimal outcomes. Your confidence, passion for quality and detailed approach will unlock value and drive continuous improvement for our customers.
• You will have experience leading and developing a diverse high performing team. With your analytical reasoning, excellent communication, you are able to confidently present actionable insights to diverse audiences.
