Job Description:
- As a project manager, you will support our goal to Ensure a Sustainable Future of Coffee for All by leading the development of educational assets for Starbucks Coffee Academy, a dynamic coffee learning journey where every learner, beginner to expert, feels rooted in our coffee heritage and inspired to build a future at Starbucks. You will work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to create content for all learning styles, including videos, podcasts, and infographics that not only educate but tell the stories of our coffee. You will work with fellow Global Coffee Partners to develop and manage the global coffee education “source of truth” content database and update existing tools and resources. As a project manager, you will oversee programming for Coffee Workshop Nine and consult on coffee content for SSC Roasting Events.
Job Responsibilities:
- prepare presentations for executives as it relates to the Foundation;
- Work cross-functionally to drive close coordination across Foundation portfolio managers and other support teams;
- coordinate a subset of grant cycles and manage key stakeholder relationships.
Job Requirements:
- Manage the development of Coffee Academy Ongoing Leaning assets with external vendors
- Work cross-functionally to manage all global Coffee Education content for tools, programs, and resources
- Manage SSC Coffee Workshop Nine education programming and content for SSC events
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required
- Facilitates decision-making without having the total picture and adapts to shifting priorities
- Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in creating briefs
- Strong decision-making skills and professional maturity
Qualification & Experience:
- Four-year degree preferred, or four years US military experience in a related MOS/C
- Two or more years of project management, including elements of scope, time, cost, quality, and communications.
- Three or more years managing mid/large-scale projects
- The ability to navigate large, matrixed organizational environment
