Job Description:

The System Administrator is responsible for support, configuration, maintenance, and operations of both hardware and software of the Windows Exchange Server environment. Active Directory experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install/configure new servers based on standards and operational requirements
• Maintain current version of Exchange – patching/hotfixes
• Maintain, configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot server hardware and software
• Develop, maintain, and contribute to installation and configuration procedures documentation
• Perform daily monitoring of environment including hardware, applications, key processes, and scheduled jobs
• Maintain, support, and administer corporate email in Exchange 2016 services
• Maintain, support, and administer mail gateway and spam filtering technologies
• Maintain daily backup operations following operational guidelines
• Work with System Administrator team to learn server environment
• Maintain/upgrade/build/implement Exchange System

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in team environment and individually
• Familiarity with SMTP, MX Records, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP(S), and SSL
• Knowledge of Exchange Clustering concepts
• Expert in Windows Desktop platforms (Win10)
• Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure, directory sync in-depth knowledge
• Expert in Exchange PowerShell
• Understanding of A/D objects and layout
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server systems (Win2016 and Win2019)

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience with domain administration, mail gateways, and spam filtering
• Minimum of 6 years IT experience in Exchange System Administration role
