Job Description:
The Training Specialist will assist in the facilitation, administration and delivery of global training and development content and support on all Human Resources training efforts. This position is responsible for high quality delivery of established training programs and initiatives in collaboration with Training Team Leadership and Operations partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the scheduling/administration of all on-boarding/HR related training and partner on oversight of the LMS booking system and the training facilities including facility up-keep, supply/stock levels, general set-up and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional service to associates during the on-boarding, orientation and training process and support associates that need assistance with the LMS, digital trainings, booking an ILT session through Dayforce and locating their home department for OJT. Regularly monitor the
- Training Team inbox to better assist and support associate training needs.
- Ensure course completion tracking and compliance oversight, including assisting with on-boarding process flows, auditing eLearning completions and scheduling associates for required trainings/orientations.
- Organize, assist and facilitate in the delivery of established content trainings and adapt course facilitation style based on the needs of the group, including classroom trainings, demonstrations, on-the-job training, eLearnings and virtual sessions.
- Partner with the training team on the delivery of park-wide compliance and training programs (on-boarding, orientation, and OJT). Including tracking, and LMS maintenance/administration.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with the Training Team to execute on project assignments and tasks
- Associate Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education (or similar)
- 2 years+ of facilitation, education, and training experience
- Professional rapport and ability to partner successfully with associates at all levels across the organization
Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
- Demonstrate strong time management, planning, and organizational skills to optimize productivity
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
- Ability to utilize problem-solving skills, including having the ability to remain patient, poised, and alert to cope with challenging/unique situations
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
