Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for responding and fulfilling community relations donation requests
• Perform other duties as assigned according to business need
• Interact with ambassadors, guests, and clients, providing excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner
• Support media relations and influencer engagement efforts for Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, including escorting media in-park, writing copy, coverage reports, media list maintenance and arranging media visits and giveaways
• Properly represent SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and our commitment to excellence
• Support and execute internal communications initiatives for ambassadors, including copy editing, developing park-wide emails, intranet posts, newsletters, and distributing printed materials for park departments
• Assist with other Marketing functions as needed; assist leadership with various special projects or other duties as assigned according to business need
• Work in a team environment and always demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Must have a professional demeanor and excellent communications skills (written and oral) with an ability to adapt communication style to different audiences (ambassadors and guests)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving guidelines
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Communications / Marketing degree, or undergraduate study with communications focus preferred

Qualification & Experience:

• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in Spanish preferred
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to manage and prioritize diverse projects in a demanding and fast paced environment
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat considerable walking and transitioning between indoor and outdoor environments are required
