Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Removing gear from guests after completion of their adventure
  • Maintaining and inspecting all rescue equipment
  • Fitting harness and helmets correctly and supervising the use of all safety equipment Conducting a pre-course safety orientation, (Ground School), for each group of guests Conducting complete inspections of harnesses and helmets
  • Responsible for gear maintenance including washing and sanitizing gear
  • Inspecting all lines and courses for safety
  • Communicating assistance for guests throughout their time on course
  • Assisting with grounds maintenance efforts including restocking water coolers and grounds cleanliness
  • Helping guests prepare for their adventure

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
  • Prior experience with outdoor recreation, athletics, educational roles, high ropes experience, interpretive naturalism, and/or rock climbing is a plus but not required

Qualification & Experience:

  • Must pass and complete required site-specific safety training course
  • Have the physical capability to assist and accommodate guests of various sizes and physical ability throughout the grounds and courses Certification in basic First Aid, CPR, and AED a plus but not required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
