Visual Merchandiser – Target Hiring

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess store visual standards to elevate visual presentations in Apparel and Accessories, Mannequin Moments, Baby Focal, Home Innovation Space (Front and Black Flats), Home Focals and
• Trend Runs, Trim A Tree, Outdoor Living, Next Gen (Gift’N’Go, Trend Spot, Kids/Perf Node, Fan Node)
• Teach and influence A&A clearance guiding principles
• Know your store sales goals, top and bottom departments, inventory levels and guest shopping patterns
• Leverage daily interactions and huddles to teach Style Consultants about visual priorities and creating outfits to support building the basket for each guest
• Focus on outfitting, accessorizing (A&A), displaying multiples (Home), newness and trend
• Inspire guests to discover solutions through compelling visual merchandising in style categories
• Solve merchandising issues and adjust sets to create and maintain inspiring presentations
• Partner with A&A team on solving new merchandising opportunities as product arrives and is stocked by the Style team

Qualification & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience
• Business acumen (i.e. margin, profitability, etc.) and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales
