Job Description:
- Take responsibility for Vanguard’s position on retirement and other policy issues affecting investors, our business and industry. Use your relationship-building and interpersonal skills to advance Vanguard’s public policy agenda with policymakers, legislators and regulators, as appropriate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of proposed regulatory actions and determine the potential impact on the organization.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key governmental entities, professional and industry trade associations, and internal stakeholders. Advocate for Vanguard’s policy positions, interests, and the health of the enterprise and its industry.
- Represent the organization in matters before the U.S. Department of Labor and other regulatory, legislative, or industry standards agencies.
- Coordinate the development of legislative and regulatory strategies to advocate public policy goals and to and influence trade association agendas and action plans.
- Manage the effective and timely communication of policy developments affecting various businesses and other stakeholders.

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred..
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum of ten years related work experience. Government relations experience preferred.
