We are currently seeking a User Experience Designer located in Texas, Flower Mound.
Job Responsibilities:
- You are a strategic thinker and can apply research to create and improve user experience within the healthcare space.
- You will assist in the creation of guidelines for user interfaces in order to simplify the user interaction and improve efficiency in products across the entire patient journey.
- Research healthcare professional roles and responsibilities, and understand the current state of patient care
- Conduct ethnographic research to determine key problem areas for healthcare providers
- Build qualitative and quantitative user tests for new and existing digital products utilizing user research methodologies
- As the user experience designer, you will be leading user and design research including usability studies, ethnographic field research, user surveys, prototype testing and competitive product analysis.

Job Requirements:
- Collaborate and share research with peers, stakeholders, and potential customers
- Monitor and assess new technologies for potential incorporation into existing products
- Capably and consistently meet project deadlines
- Research healthcare professional roles and responsibilities, and understand the current state of patient care
- Interpret and translate product requirements into meaningful user experiences
- Collaborate with other designers to build optimal solutions for patient care
- Collaborate in the definition of user interface design standards for Stryker applications
Qualification & Experience:
- Must be able to effectively communicate design rationale verbally and visually to team members
- Familiarity with modern design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc.)
- Must be flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new technologies.
- Ability to draw storyboards to refine concepts a plus
- Experience working in an agile development environment a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required
- 5+ years UX experience for web and mobile products
- Strong command of visual design capabilities, including composition, layout, information hierarchy, typography, and color discernment
- Demonstrable UX portfolio showing experience is desired
