Job Description:
As a Supervisory Operations Support Specialist you will provide technical and administrative supervision to Operations Support Specialist personnel and provide advice and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees on a wide range of administrative functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as a technical subject matter expert to the regional, field office management, staff related to various personnel management liaison functions, procurement, budget and financial management, travel support, time and attendance and training.
- Assign work requirements to subordinate staff, set and adjust short-term priorities, and establish target dates for work completion to achieve efficiency and productivity.
- Make decisions and resolve complex problems involving interpretation of law and application of USCIS or DHS policy
- Anticipate problems in a full range of operation support functions and provide innovative solutions that accommodate needs without compromising guiding management principles.
- Provide policy guidance and recommendations to Regional Director and regional staff and field managers on Equal Employment and Inclusion issues that require attention or resolution and represents the Regional Director on the EEO Advisory Committee.

Qualification & Experience:
- You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
- Managing and providing technical advice on a variety of mission support programs and procedures such as various personnel management liaison functions, equal employment management, procurement, budget and financial management, customer relations, travel support, training or management analysis;
- Planning, organizing, evaluating and improving operational support programs services and processes;
- Researching, writing reports and providing recommendations that provide authoritative guidance on complex mission support program issues;
- Provide guidance and collaborate with colleagues throughout all levels of the agency to resolve problems pertaining to administrative and multi-programmatic concerns and projects.
