UBS Jobs in Geneve – Lombard Lending Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

You’ll be working in the UBS Global Wealth Management Division in the Lombard Distribution team in either Zürich or Geneva, Switzerland. We provide our Client Advisors and Clients with high quality and tailor-made Lombard Lending solutions. Our role is to drive transaction volume and revenue in our business by providing financing solutions to match our Clients’ specific needs and circumstances.

Job Responsibilities:

• develop client sales pitches for general as well as customized lending situations
• calculate margin requirements for OTC and ETD derivatives, assess and document associated risks and mitigants from a credit perspective
• act as end-to-end deal captain, managing and balancing the different stakeholders’ expectations between markets and the credit risk organization
• analyze and offer in-depth structuring advice on complex collateralized lending transactions with a focus on concentrated portfolios, life insurance solutions and operating companies

Job Requirements:

• diligent, reliable, well-organized and able to work towards challenging deadlines while maintaining a high degree of output quality
• gifted at explaining complex models in a simple manner and communicating with confidence
• able to juggle several tasks at once in a fast-paced working environment
• strong understanding of and experience with securities as Lombard collateral, investments and asset classes in general. OTC and ETD derivatives, their structures and associated risks which drive the calculation of margin requirements from a credit perspective will be a very strong plus
• ideally experience with or a keen interest to learn about lending against Life Insurance Policies as collateral
• you enjoy performing in-depth analyses without losing sight of the big picture
