TSB Recruitment – Lead Security Consultant

Job Description:

As a Lead Security Consultant you will l ead a team to provide the cyber security through to manage live incident and threats to TSB whilst ensuring our security parameters remain at the appropriate levels to protect TSB and its customers. You will also lead in providing cyber security and SME knowledge in all new and existing programmes across TSB

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide detailed specifications for IT security solutions and support the development of security testing plans
• Create and govern risk stories to ensure new releases follow the best security practices
• Coach cyber security staff from a technical SME perspective
• Support where appropriate a variety of IT Security and other related activities
• Define security deliverables to project and change initiatives during early engagement
• Propose and develop security mitigations to address identified threats and vulnerabilities
• Design and deliver security solutions and services into TSB
• Work within teams of security and technical specialists to ensure quality delivery of world class security solutions into the business
• Responsibility for execution of NIST control framework requirements.
• Lead and assist Risk Assessment exercises designed to highlight and clearly articulate IT Security risk to the business
• Ensure cyber security controls are implemented effectively and reviewed regularly

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast past environment
• Any development certification from any major programming language such as Java, .Net, etc
• Good understanding of offensive / defensive techniques and awareness of any open source framework such as OWASP
• ESAPI etc

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in the financial services sector
• Preferably educated to a degree level or above in an Information Security related discipline. May also have certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CSSLP or equivalent
