Job Description:

From Deli meats & cheeses, to signature salads, to specialty cheese and prepared foods, the Deli/Carry-Out-Cafe is to go-to destination for our customers’ meal and party planning needs. If you enjoy serving customers one-on-one, the Deli/Carry-Out-Cafe may be where you belong!

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring proper handling, storing, and discarding of product
• Ensuring proper operation of and temperatures in coolers and cases
• Providing friendly and attentive customer service
• Fulfilling customer requests for deli and/or specialty cheese products and/or prepared foods products (i.e. ready-made meals, packaged salads, pizzas, subs, etc.); slicing deli meats and cheeses to order; preparing product for cases
• Maintaining proper shelf, case and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous manner and promote sales through excellent customer service
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to operate slicer, wrapping machine, cheese cutter, ovens/stove, fryer pizza dough press , and computerized scales
