Job Description: Compiles and analyzes financial data and is responsible for developing integrated expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Job Responsibilities: Recommends budget adjustments and other cost improvement measures Performs cost, and financial analysis of data reported in the various accounting systems Interprets financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Analyzes complex financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability Job Requirements: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to analyze and interpret information Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, mathematics or statistics 4+ years of senior accountant, financial statement or financial analysis experience Knowledge of advanced accounting theory and procedures Knowledge of operating and capital financial statements Job Details: Company: Spectrum Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Stamford, CT, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
