Job Description:

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Arlington is looking for a dynamic and thoughtful leader to oversee operations within the Aquatics, Park Services, and Guest Services departments, to ensure delivery of a world class entertainment experience to our guests through friendly, clean, fast, and safe service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leads the day-to-day operation of the Aquatics, Park Services, and Guest Services areas at Hurricane Harbor Arlington ensuring departmental and park goals are achieved
• Provides supervision, training, development, and evaluation for seasonal supervisors and teams
• Assists leaders at Six Flags Over Texas on park initiatives to that ensure Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor Arlington are exceeding performance goals as a two-park complex
• Handles guest concerns and responds to guest comments
• Attends Annual Aquatics Safety School
• Oversees all Aquatics Ellis & Associates certifications and in-service trainings
• Ensures that all park areas, including but not limited to, restrooms, flower beds, designated smoking areas, and patios maintain a standard of excellence for cleanliness throughout the season
• Motivates teams to provide fast service; striving to consistently achieve each rides hourly offered throughput
• Ensures teams are proactively guest friendly and that guest first standards are followed and enforced

Job Requirements:

• Minimum two to three years supervisory experience – preferably Operations/Aquatics related
• Current Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification (including deep water attractions) or the ability to achieve within 2 months of hire
• Current instruction in Aquatics Safety School or ability to achieve it within 1 year of hire
• Current CPO or ability to achieve it within 1 year of hire

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum two years’ experience in Theme Park or Waterpark management
• Strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and creative thinker
• Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
• Excellent motivational, leadership, and team-building skills
• Excellent administrative skills, including organization, budget control, and time management
