Job Description:

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is looking for enthusiastic team members to join our Safety team. This position will be pivotal in promoting a safety focused culture at the park through non-invasive health screenings for all team members and personnel that enter the park’s property. In addition, the screener is expected to communicate in a clear manner to the on-site EMT for any secondary screenings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administrative duties including, but not limited to: filing and data entry.
• Understand, support, and follow standard operating procedures and patient care protocols.
• Act in the best interest of the patient when screening.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally.
• Information gathering, reporting and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned, needed, or required.
• Telecommunications, radio communications and dispatch of resources.

Job Requirements:

• Must have the ability to stand or sit for an extended period of time.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have flexible availability with early morning shifts
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
