Job Description:
Six Flags is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Sales Account Executive to be responsible for selling the exciting experience of Six Flags primarily through contracted groups and special events. This position will maximize park attendance from our key geographic territory of St. Louis. Exceptional client service is required by fostering client relationships and responding to leads with the utmost sense of urgency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and devise strategies for generating new business.
- Generating high volume leads, work with key renewal account & event business.
- Assisting Marketing Director to determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Develop, or participate with Park and Central Sales leadership in the Strategic Marketing Plan
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
- Works closely with Central Sales Accounts Director, Business Development and Inside Sales teams to build best strategy for park market.
- Work with local park events/execution teams to ensure seamless event planning and logistics.
- Leader of group sales within parks local market.
- Giving virtual sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years sales experience, preferable in hospitality, leisure or entertainment venue focused on event sales.
- Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends.
Qualification & Experience:
- Strong time management skills with drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities.
- Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
- Computer skills, especially MS Office and CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
