Job Description:
Maintain control, quality, safe operation, distribution and required daily reporting of systems including but not limited to potable water, industrial water and sanitary sewer. Maintain proper lake levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide fluent and consistent communication with management and corresponding departments.
- Withstand pressure under potentially stressful or critical conditions
- Ability to work in new and existing construction.
- Adhere to proper PPE and LOTO requirements.
- Provide safe, tidy user-friendly work areas.
- Ensure the inspection and safe operation of all equipment and tools.
- Practice and promote proper hygiene.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Install and repair equipment and associated plumbing, including, but not limited to, hot water tanks, pumps, filters, toilets, urinals, sinks, drinking fountains, hydrants.
Job Requirements:
- Valid New York State Drivers License and successful completion of Darien Lake Vehicle Training program.
- Must be fit tested and orientated to safe confine space procedures.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 years experience in plumbing related position.
Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to prioritize and manage daily assigned tasks incorporating preventative maintenance practices.
- Ability to locate underground utilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maps and diagrams.
- Possess soldering, pipe fitting and threading, mathematical, and metering skills.
- Possess strong administrative skills including organization and documentation.
- Experience in the safe and proper operation of specialized equipment such as a jetter, honey wagon, pump out cart, tow motor, tractor, etc as needed.
- Possess positive and productive leadership skills.
