Job Description:
Courteously welcome all guests and provide ultimate service to ensure guest satisfaction Adhere to house rules, departmental policies, and safety standards Communicate clearly with guests and management Respond to or channel any guest requests/complaints to the department or proper manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Proper distribution of room keys and staff keys
- To maintain an accurate cash bank and to balance all transactions at the end of the shift
- Operate a room key card machine efficiently
- Responsible for changes to guest room status; i.e. room changes, early departures and stay-overs
- Check-in guests into the computer, establishes credit and give the guest accurate information
- Complete and balance the Shift Audit at the end of the day
- Handle cash in a responsible and professional manner
- Operate the Front Desk system to make reservations
- Use problem-solving skills to professionally handle any guest issue, question, or concern
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working with the public in a service provider industry preferred
- Previous experience with Credit Card Machine and handling cash preferred
- Must be a friendly, outgoing “people” person with a good attitude and smile
- Must know keyboard and have general computer knowledge
Qualification & Experience:
- Knowledgeable of hotel property and waterpark
- Possess ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledgeable in all hotel and waterpark services and hours of operation
- Must know how to answer and transfer calls
- Must be able to stand up to four (4) hours at a time and reach above shoulder level
- Possess ability to remain calm and professional in all situations
