Job Description:
We are looking for a line cook to prepare food to the exact required specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Clean up station and kitchen equipment
- Prepare food for service to dining room and banquet event customers
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift and carry, unassisted, upon to 40 pounds, able to safely perform all necessary tasks in a large kitchen environment
- Ability to professionally communicate with co-workers
Qualification & Experience:
- Proven cooking experience, preferably (but not required) experience in a casual dining and/or banquet environment
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
