Job Description:

This a Full-Time position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operation of the park’s aquatic related operations.
  • Assist in formulating action plans and analyze data/trends to drive continuous performance improvements and incident reduction.
  • Build and maintains a positive, high performance team culture generating increased retention.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures pertaining to slides and attractions including procedure creation and revisions as waterpark operation evolves.
  • Ensure compliance with Ellis & Associates, as well as corporate aquatics, policies and standards.
  • Maintain records as determined by Six Flags and Ellis & Associates policies.
  • Practice advance planning to adequately prepare for volume and sales and throughput in all areas.
  • Supervise operational activities within assigned areas to meet the needs of guests and employees.
  • Mentor all Team Members to achieve goals through positive communication, encouragement and coaching.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in aquatics operation with a strong performance history in one or more of the following areas: lifeguarding, lifeguard training, swim instruction, and CPO/AFO.
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold an Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Instructor Certification.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in addition to organizational, administrative, and public relations skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a demanding fast paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to anticipate and manage multiple projects of varied priority through planning, execution, and follow up.
  • The availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in various weather conditions to include extreme heat and sun.
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold a valid Texas state driver’s license.
