Job Description:
We are seeking a highly-talented Senior Communications Associate to support business management and chief of staff functions within the Enterprise Risk Management organization overseeing communications, events and change management. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for driving effective communications outcomes by supporting executive communications, change management communications, department wide MBRs, All Hands presentations, contributing to associate engagement, and influencing the department culture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead our enterprise-wide communications and change management strategy for our products and services.
- Track and leverage metrics to measure the effectiveness of communications delivered, and implement improvements to better serve our associates
- Lead large-scale change management programs for our enterprise-level Tech team, helping prepare associates for the change through development and execution of a change strategy.
- Have Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Google Suite, Poppulo
- Own communications initiatives, working with the chief of staff, colleagues and stakeholders to deliver timely, targeted, creative, and effective communications to keep associates and stakeholders informed and engaged
- You will play a key role in keeping the associate population inspired, engaged, and informed.
- Manage Town Hall and All Hands meetings
- A natural collaborator. You’ll work with multiple people across multiple teams to find the ultimate solution that works for our associates and our business.
- Confident in verbal and non-verbal communications across all levels of an organization
- A strong project manager able to organize and schedule multiple work streams, as well as lead project teams
- Able to influence peers and executives within a corporate environment
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of communications experience
- At least 2 years of experience in organizing and managing multiple projects
- At least 1 year of experience with GSuite
Qualification & Experience:
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong familiarity with Capital One communication channels and how to utilize
- Knowledge of, and experience using Google and Microsoft products as well as competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- At least 2 years’ experience with project management and agile delivery
- Great judgment, influence, leadership, and integrity
