Job Responsibilities:
- Aggregate and analyze portfolio forecasted and actual results, identifying and researching trends and anomalies to provide business driver transparency.
- Participate in cross functional teams to improve efficiency and organizational effectiveness, compliance and other organizational processes. Occasionally may lead smaller scope team projects.
- Perform planning, gather business requirements, execute testing and assist with roll out for implementation and integration of new systems, controls and processes.
- Develop, run and maintain financial system and other data queries, and compile and analyze data for various reporting
- Assist with preparation of presentations and other meeting materials
- Track and report business and individual asset performance.
- Develop and deliver quality analytics and reporting as required by leadership
- Provide reporting and other support for joint ventures
- Actively seek to identify and meet business needs with a sense of urgency, taking ownership of the issues and problems until resolved
- Proactively identify areas of process improvement and propose alternatives
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various groups to achieve business objectives in a dynamic growth environment
- Ability to understand financial concepts, models and the potential impact of operations on investments and financial results
- Ability to define issues, analyze problems, evaluate alternatives and develop sound conclusions
- Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications (including O365 cloud application versions) – SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- Knowledge of financial systems
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Energy market and product knowledge, including understanding of ERCOT, SPP and other markets
- Previous financial or business planning experience
Qualification & Experience:
- Renewables business knowledge and experience
- Experience with financial reporting and query tools – WebI, Financial Cubes, Power BI, SQL environments, and Commodities XL
