Job Description: As an Merchandise Manager, you’ll help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. You’ll model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for motivation, training, development and daily management of hourly ambassadors Represent Merchandise as Duty Manager during park operating hours, as well as being department point person for meetings, events, or projects as assigned Monitor cash handling, identify/execute opportunities to reduce theft, mitigate overs & shorts Regular reporting, analysis, and managing of per capita/revenue, labor, and expenses of assigned area(s) Oversee and ensure maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized work environment As required have confidence and ability to work autonomously in order to meet department goals and objectives while keeping Senior Leader apprised of progress, concerns, and/or needs Maintain financial, operational and quantitative responsibilities for an assigned park area(s). This may include, but not be limited to Retail, Games, Vending, Managing of Revenue Partners, Photo, Service, Merchandising, or any combination of disciplines Job Requirements: Experience with scheduling & employee management software Experience with Visual Merchandising Strong understanding retail accounting & financials High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Qualification & Experience: High level of interpersonal, communication, and motivational leadership skills Minimum four years management and/or supervisory experience, along with three years of operational revenue experience required (theme park experience preferred) Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook), and aptitude to learn other work related software Ability to work well under pressure, and deliver on scheduled deadlines Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills Job Details: Company: SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Langhorne, PA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
