Job Description:

The Senior Graphic Designer will work with the Design Manager and Creative Content Manager to create and maintain both traditional and digital deliverables. This position reports to the department Design Manager or Design Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Directs photo and video shoots.
• Understands publication workflow from design to prepress.
• Works closely with the communications team to create engaging layouts.
• Maintains multiple layouts for SDZWA JOURNAL magazine in printed and digital forms.
• Designs changes, corrections, and additions.
• Works closely with creative content team
• Provides the concept and design for multiple marketing collateral and interpretive signage.
• Collaborates with internal and external departments.

Qualification & Experience:

• Be proficient in the use Adobe CS programs preferably InDesign
• Meet multiple, overlapping deadlines
• Create, manage, and fulfill publication workflows
• Four or more years’ experience with brand, print, and interactive redesigns
• Principles and how to effectively incorporate into page designs
• Design experience for a major publication
• Philanthropy design experience preferred
• Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent specialized training
