Job Description: The Banquet Worker provides customers with table service this position assists in making assigned facility efficient and attractive to the public. This position reports to the Banquet Lead, Food Service Supervisor or Food Service Manager. Job Responsibilities: Follows standard inventory procedures Advises guests regarding menu items Serves orders for food and beverages Closes down event in a timely manner Assists guests Prepares some food items such as salads and sauces Answers guests' questions regarding the Zoo and Safari Park Performs related duties and responsibilities as required Assists in escorting guests to and from scheduled activities Greets guests Adheres to all SDZWA and department policies and practices Job Requirements: At least one Catering/Banquet experience is required Some bar tending experience is required Qualification & Experience: Competently perform the essential functions, knowledge and skills outlined Effective customer service skills Assist customers in making menu selections Deal tactfully and courteously with the public in a diverse environment Understand and carry-out instructions Understand diagrams Make simple arithmetic calculations Understand and accurately pour beer, wine and liquor Job Details: Company: San Diego Zoo Global Vacancy Type: Part Time Job Location: Escondido ,CA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
