Job Description:

Emery Jensen Distribution is a division of Ace Hardware Corporation that distributes hardline products to the independent Pro Lumber, Hardware, Grocery, and E-retailer customer segments. Our team is currently looking for a Sales Operations & Training Manager who is responsible for the strategic direction of sales training and processes improvement for the Emery Jensen sales organization. This role drives ongoing, long-term improvement of sales professional’s selling skills, provides learning opportunities around products and services and supports the selection, implementation and adoption of appropriate Customer Relationship Management tools and process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create testing and evaluation process to evaluate skills, learning and retention
  • Provide leadership development education
  • Prepare and implement training budget
  • Conduct and/or facilitate classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences and workshops
  • Identify training and development needs within the company through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation for sales professionals
  • Assist sales leadership in building and developing cohesive teams
  • Assist with the development of strategic sales plans and individual development plans; provide performance feedback
  • Manage selection, training and implementation of Customer Relationship Management tools and process
  • Design and expand training and development programs based on both needs of the business and the individual sales professionals
  • Develop Curriculum, considering the costs of planning programs and keeping within budgets

Job Requirements:

  • Creative ability, writing proficiency, visual graphics design ability
  • Good organizer, meticulous, and good public speaker at ease moderating large groups

Qualification & Experience:

  • 2+ years of prior training, teaching, or related Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Development, Communications, Personnel Relations, Business Administration, Teaching or related
