Job Description:

This newly created education/sales leadership role is responsible for building training programs and content specific to European Sports Medicine product portfolio, enabling the sales force to deliver clinically relevant products and provide value to our customers. You will work to understand Sports Medicine Europe’s business goals and you will drive sales excellence throughout the European Sports Medicine sales force in order to maximize sales growth and take market share from competitors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will own the sales force onboarding, sales training, and sales rep development educational pathway with an emphasis on clinical development and procedural sales competency to promote both top line and bottom-line growth to the Sports Medicine portfolio.
  • You will work to maintain a strong knowledge of the Sports Medicine product portfolio, services, customers, and competition to remain relevant and effective. You will be the Sports Medicine (and associated procedures) subject matter expert who leads the development of effective training materials.
  • You will closely collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership within the Endoscopy Division and other applicable divisions. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and the Sports Medicine sales force to ensure training is relevant and actionable to sales force.
  • You will tailor programs and platforms which can be used by the sales force to upskill and enhance their educational knowledge that can be tracked and reported.
  • You ensure trial best practise is embedded into the Sports Medicine sales force through implementation of processes and sales excellence.
  • You will be responsible for the ongoing coaching, development and engagement of the Sports Medicine Regional Field Trainer (RFT) team.
  • You will identify skills and behaviors of top performing reps and works to cultivate those skills and drive those behaviors to all sales reps.
  • You will master digital project management, responsible for customizing and launching learning programs to the Sports Medicine Sales Force.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Life Science or relevant field (Masters or MBA Highly desirable)
  • At least 5 years sales and/or sales management experience, of which a significant portion is within Pharma/ med-tech industry, including significant experience within Brand Management
  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, developing others and the ability to tailor coaching and training specific to an individual, instead of a “one approach fits all” mentality
  • Demonstrates patience and a passion for educating others.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ability to take complex concepts and skills into small, manageable “chunks”
  • You are a self-starter who enjoys working independently and demonstrates a high level of accountability.
  • You are fluent in English
  • You enjoy enabling people to be better in their job!
