Job Description: The Runner is a team member classified based on individual location needs, and/or employee availability, as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part- time regular or a full-time hourly employee whose main responsibility is to provide superior guest service in a clean, maintained and comfortable environment. They must have a genuine concern for ensuring guest satisfaction represent the Cinebarre in a manner that is consistent with the Company's mission statement and policies. If the theatre sells alcohol and your assigned duties will include the serving of alcohol, you must be of legal age with all applicable training, permits and licenses to serve alcohol per to state or local laws. Job Responsibilities: Regular and consistent attendance Portion side sauces and dressing as needed Ensure timely communication with all guests Knowledge of and adherence to all laws, legal obligations and company policies regarding the serving of alcohol. Rotate stock items as per established procedures Assist with setting tables Collaborate with servers to ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned and waiting for the next guest Knowledge and compliance with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards. Ensure guests are served in a timely and professional manner in accordance with REG standards Expedite food orders as needed Ensure flatware is clean and available Knowledge of proper operation and cleaning of all related equipment Check guests and alert servers if guests need attention Ensure lost and found items are handled in accordance with REG policy Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner Job Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Establish goals, budget time and set priorities to achieve desired objectives. Possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management. Completed the Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University. Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives and reach conclusions based on evidence. Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems.
