Job Description:

Serves guests as a brand ambassador with emphasis on providing the highest level of customer service Provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation description upon request Keeps up to date with local public events and festivals with the intent to find marketing opportunities Communicates with neighboring businesses, schools, and other organizations to develop partnerships for promotional discounts, vouchers, or advertising The training, developing, coaching and supervising of non-management employees Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate POS system, including the proper handling of and responsibility for accuracy of cash drawer
  Performs staff positions as required
• Order supplies, food, alcohol, and ingredients based on rapidly shifting demands to ensure no out-of-stock products
• Cost control including operating expenses
• Maintain accurate inventory controls for all food, beverage, and janitorial supplies
• The interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, suspending of any cast member, with the oversight from the General Manager, and after conferring with the Human Resources Manager, terminating of any employee. Properly administrating all applicable paperwork and upholding all company policies as they pertain to Human Resources
• Supervising maintenance (building and grounds, where applicable), including performing minor repairs and obtaining qualified personnel for large maintenance concerns
• Complies with dress code and enforces it with the staff
• Ensure marketing campaigns are capturing guests for duration of promotion
• Ensure required alcohol certification is on file where applicable
• Counting, depositing, and reconciling all receipts taken in during a business day. Receipts include cash, credit cards, coupons, gift cards, checks, discount tickets, and any other mode of payment or accountability deemed applicable by the company

Qualification & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a high school student) required.
• Employee must be of legal age to sell and serve alcohol according to state or local laws.
• Employee must take all required training modules upon hire including completion of Lavazza training program.
• Employee must demonstrate proficiency with all job requirements within first 90 days.
• The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Progressive managerial expereince (3+ years) in quick serve restaurants, cafes and/or specialty food & beverage concepts highly preferred.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must complete Responsible Beverage Server and Harassment or other regulatory training upon hire.
• It is employee’s responsibility to complete any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate.
