Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and communicate benchmark competitor’s activities and performance, along with implementing strategies and tactics to compete while adhering to distribution and segmentation guidelines
  • Manage accounts through business planning, inventory control, and analysis including the management of an open order book and delivering all orders by booking deadline
  • Coordinate, prepare, and execute seasonal product presentations and deliver all required reports including weekly sell-thru analysis, forecasts, and business/market recap
  • Conduct continual sales analysis to manage product life cycles, inventory models, and capitalize on successes and address issues as needed
  • Execute in-store excellence through best-in-class assortment, visuals, and marketing collateral
  • Provide the highest level of service and technical expertise each season from sell-in to sell-through and achieve sales goals by quarter and category
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships externally with account operations, as well as internally with all levels of account management and internal departments aligned to your Wholesale business by contributing and collaborating on account-specific plans

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the US mall, Global retail, City Specialty and Boutique environments & consumers
  • Analytical skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet software tools
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and make recommendations on potential solutions
  • Ability to utilize organizational skills to effectively manage time and work against and follow through on business deadlines with a high level of energy, initiative, and professionalism
  • Understanding of sales practices including the ability to present product and communicate brand strategy to accounts accurately and effectively

Qualification & Experience:

  • 4-6 Years’ experience in Footwear and Apparel national account sales within Boutique and City Specialty channels of business including technical product knowledge and overall marketplace competitive intelligence
  • Retail Math & Order book management experience
