Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery, High availability)
  • Design and implement solutions through hands on tasks, as well as by preparing paper or interactive lab models, based off business requirements and best practices
  • On Call rotation as required in a global 24×7 environment
  • Resolve issues and user needs tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure, as well as working within a problem management and resolution process
  • Configure, install, monitor, and propose improvements to software, servers, routers and other network devices and equipment. Maintain complete technical documentation
  • Carry out network changes and implementations of new technologies while coordinating with other teams, test and turn-over network projects utilizing Standard Operating Procedure documentation.
  • Study and validate network architecture, recommend upgrades, and evaluate traffic patterns results

Job Requirements:

  • Security Centric with knowledge and experience in vulnerability management and risk mitigation
  • Understanding of VLAN’s, LAN, WAN, BGP, EIGRP, STP, NAT, 801.1x, RADIUS, TACACS+
  • Cisco CCNA / CCNP and Palo Alto PCNSA certifications
  • Knowledge of network security technologies including Firewalling, IPS/IDS, NAC, IPSec VPN, Port Security, Segmentation, SSL Decryption and
  • Zero Trust architectures
  • Experience designing, implementing and supporting complex campus wireless access systems and advanced knowledge of WIFI tools such as “Ekahau planner/scanner”
  • Must be able to produce new or maintain existing infrastructure documentation and diagrams

Qualification & Experience:

  • Eight + years of experience in Network Security, design and implementation. Two+ years of experience directly related to position responsibilities in a similar IT role
  • Experience working with Cisco switches (IP and FC), routers, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ISE, AnyConnect and Azure networking
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining network traffic monitoring systems and SIEM support/configuration
  • Experience working in a collocated Data Center environment
  • Experience/knowledge in systems fundamentals such as Server operating environments (Win/UX), Virtualization (VMware), Storage networking, Active directory and scripting.
