Job Description:

As a Distribution Process Improvement Engineer, you will support process improvements and promote efficient operations by applying Industrial Engineering skills to business problems here at Publix. This includes working with different business areas to identify, initiate and support projects that improve customer service and efficient processes for 27 distribution centers that support nearly 1,300 stores across the southeast.

Job Responsibilities:

• identifies process improvements for supported business areas and
• develops and maintains Engineered Labor Standards that are used to schedule, pay, and/or evaluate the performance of Publix associates and suppliers
• provides analytical decision support to assigned business areas through the use of core Industrial Engineering skills, mathematical tools, modeling and computational methods for system analysis, evaluation, and optimization
• directs, plans and coordinates the day to day activities of up to two IE Support Specialists & up to one Student IE.
