Job Description:

We’re looking for a driven high-energy professional who will play a fundamental role in the success of our strategic partnerships as the Partnerships Manager. You will work with internal stakeholders to source new business and help achieve revenue objectives. This is a rare opportunity to join the Toys”R”Us partnership team and help us achieve aggressive growth objectives for 2019 and beyond.  This position reports to the Head of Partnerships.

About you:
The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a rapid growth environment. Have the ability to work independently to plan and execute against revenue goals. Strong candidates will understand how to listen to partners, close deals, communicate clearly, prioritize tasks and perform while creating new processes and systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be on the forefront of consumer products, discovering new and exciting products as well as keeping an eye on enterprise companies
  • Deploy all stages of the sales cycle from lead generation through signed contracts
  • Devise strategies to help grow partners through selling new offerings and opportunities
  • Manage early stage communication with cross-functional partners to ensure best possible partner experiences
  • Manage inbound and outbound lead generation pipeline for maximum revenue generation
  • Ideate ways to continue to improve the partner experience
  • Record and maintain the contact info and key objectives in our CRM system
  • Achieve sales quotas

Job Requirements:

  • Experience closing deals for a minimum of 3-4 years
  • High Emotional IQ; creative problem solver; strong relationship building skills; ability to work cross functionally
  • High attention to detail and strong execution skills; top notch organizational skills and comfort in analytical problem solving
  • Ability to travel ~10-15%
  • Self starter with ability to execute on business priorities with little hand holding
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years of experience in a sales, account management or business development
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Knowledgeable about marketing
  • Positive attitude and fortitude to work through ever-changing and dynamic operational conditions
  • Existing client relationships a plus
  • Demonstrate initiative, persistence and ability to close deals
