Job Description:

Collection Management is the process of managing and organizing the collection of intelligence from various sources. The NSA is looking to develop a highly talented cadre of individuals in developing, planning, and ensuring the efficiency of NSA’s worldwide accesses, collaborating with collection architecture developers, and sustaining access to global communications.

Job Responsibilities:

• The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense.
• The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes.
• The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive classified national security information. In support of the offensive mission, Cryptologic Collection Data Managers ensure the timely delivery of collected Cyber data to customer databases via processing and distribution channels.

Job Requirements:

• The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position.
• Salary offers are based on candidates’ education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position.
• Entry is with a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• Completion of military training in a relevant area such as Signals Collection or Analysis program will be considered towards the relevant experience requirement

Qualification & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered. Degree in any field is acceptable.
• Relevant experience must be in data flow management for collection and/or database administration (e.g., developing, maintaining, troubleshooting).
• Some of the experience may be in signals intelligence (SIGINT) collection or processing, systems administration, IT support, IT management, and/or application administration.
