Job Description:
You will serve as a Computer Engineer in the Flight Software Branch, an organizational element of the Research and Engineering Directorate at Glenn Research Center (GRC).
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply sound software development processes and procedures to complex computer-based systems.
- Works alongside other computer engineers to incorporate new technologies and improve the efficiency of networking software.
- Design, develop, document, and test networking software.
- Task planning, cost and schedule determination, project management.
- Duties described below are at the full-performance level. Duties assigned at a lower grade level will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
- Configure, and maintain software management, development, and testing tools.
