Job Responsibilities:

• While you may be multi-skilled and trained on a wide range of equipment to be able to support every element of ride maintenance safely.
• In this role you are responsible, as part of a well-trained and competent team, for maintaining the 27 rides that we have across the park.
• Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance activities including opening and closing checks, daily and weekly maintenance, and annual maintenance requirements, all whilst providing electrical expertise to develop and improve the ride availability.

Job Requirements:

• Completed apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline and hold an ONC, NVQ level 3 or BTEC equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Post apprenticeship experience within a relevant engineering department.
• A “can do” attitude and endless energy and enthusiasm for the role.
• Full understanding of engineering-related statutory requirements such as COSHH.
• Inspection experience.

Qualification & Experience:

• The ability to read and use engineering drawings.
• Have experience of using technical manuals, Risk assessments and related documentation.
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems of work.
• The ability to display problem solving and diagnostic skills.
• The ability to display problem solving and diagnostic skills.
• While previous work in a theme park environment is desirable, engineering experience gathered on other electrical systems may be equally suitable.
