Manager Business Intelligence – Charles Schwab Entry Level Jobs

Job Description:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and passionate Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics within Schwab Asset Management Solutions. This is an opportunity to leverage analytics, to drive next phase of growth for Schwab Asset Management Solutions (SAMS). SAMS is an industry leader in providing investment products – Solutions, SMAs, ETF’s , Mutual Funds, and Money Market Funds- and research products (Schwab Center for Financial Research) to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Asset Management and or Strategy/Analytics consulting in large scale organizations is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication as well as relationship building skills
• Prior experience using analytics to drive growth in Asset Management Sales, Digital Marketing is a plus
• Desire to deliver business impact and measure results to continuously improve
• Technical proficiencies in Tableau, Denodo VQL, Teradata, SQL
• Prior experience in Schwab or TDA and/Or Asset Management acquisitions is a plus
• In depth experience in Analytics including usage of R/Python and Data wrangling tools such as Alteryx is a plus
• Cloud computing experience especially in Google Cloud (GCP) or Eagle Data Warehouse is a plus
• Communicating results to executive audience including development of insights, actionable recommendations, feedback loop
• End to end execution of a Business Intelligence / Analytics project including business strategy, hypothesis generation, data discovery, data integration and Dashboard/Analytics model development

Qualification & Experience:

• Hands on experience with ML techniques, e.g., natural language processing (NLP), supervised/unsupervised (clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection) and Deep learning / AI (ANN, CNN)
• Experience working in a fast-paced Asset Management domain preferred
• Professional experience and desire to expand career within Analytics/Business Intelligence Development
• Must be self-starter, very detailed and analytical, and have a curious mind that enjoys digging into how things work and continuously strives to improve the product, workflow and the process.
• Excellent ability to work with structured and unstructured data sets
• Ability to implement ML best practices for the entire Data Science lifecycle
• Experience writing and speaking about technical concepts to business, technical, and lay audiences and giving data-driven presentations
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling.
• Experience in an ML engineer or data scientist role building and deploying ML models
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work related experience
