Job Description:
Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks an Account Executive to join the Wholesale Sales team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. Marc Jacobs International is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) fashion division and operates in the wholesale and direct to consumer retail markets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain monthly profitability for assigned accounts
- Responsible for meeting seasonal booking and EOS GM goals
- Manage day to day account needs
- Analyze overall market for trends and competitive landscape
- Drive business through innovative events, contests, incentives, etc.
- Manage specialist/brand managers for assigned accounts
- Manage all aspects of market appointment including scheduling, management WT’s, order confirmations, communication, etc.
- Analyze selling on a weekly and seasonal basis to identify business opportunities such as reorders, swaps, product hits and misses
- Weekly travel to local stores and seasonal travel within the US to host trainings, maintain VM, and build relationships with store associates, personal shoppers, and dept/floor managers
- Build strong working relationships with vendors and cross functional partners
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Passionate about product and overall fashion industry
- Must be self-motivated and a team player
Qualification & Experience:
- 3-5 years in luxury/contemporary fashion environment
- Prior AE experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
