Job Description:
We’re looking for an Employer Brand Officer to join our growing team based within Head Office. You will be responsible for managing our current employer brand channels, executing recruitment advertising campaigns to support day-to-day recruitment and reporting on performance. You’ll work alongside our recruitment teams in Head Office and our 13 regions to execute the attraction strategy for all roles across the UK to help us to attract the best candidates for our stores, warehouses and growing office teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Audit of internal and external channels to identify opportunities for engagement with the Lidl GB employer brand
- Continually update our careers site with new content, including job advertisements, to ensure all our external advertising remains consistent within our employer brand guidelines
- Report on digital attraction channels and support with identifying areas of improvement
- Post updates and manage advertising campaigns on our social media channels to drive engagement from our followers
- Support our recruitment teams with ordering necessary collateral for their individual needs
- Run and direct photo shoots and film shoots to create the necessary media collateral for our advertising, and ensure our colleagues are included and engaged throughout these projects
- Work with relevant agency partners to ensure all attraction campaigns run effectively and within the guidelines of our employer brand
- Execute and co-ordinate all recruitment advertising campaigns for Lidl UK, across a range of different channels including print, online and social media
Job Requirements:
- Good attention to detail with the ability to write accurate, clear copy and to proof-read attraction materials to ensure they comply with tone of voice guidelines
- A good knowledge of social media and digital attraction platforms
- Previous experience of working as an attraction/employer brand/media specialist, with a good understanding of attraction strategies and recruitment processes
- Good working knowledge of recruitment advertising channels and an understanding of employer brand
- Excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills, ideally with experience of working within a busy environment
- An understanding of the importance of a good user experience for a careers website, with the willingness to learn how to operate our CMS effectively
- A can-do attitude with a keenness to learn more about effective attractive strategies
