Legoland Job Application – Park Ranger

Job Description:

LEGOLAND Florida Resort is a 150-acre interactive theme park dedicated to families with children between the ages of 2 and 12. With more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions, and uniquely themed LEGOLAND Water Park, LEGOLAND Hotel, and LEGOLAND Beach Resort inspired by the LEGO and DUPLO brands, LEGOLAND is geared towards family fun!

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly inspections of Park fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
• Secure facilities, equipment and other assets to prevent loss and/or damage.
• Dispatch and respond to radio calls in the Park for Security needs and emergencies.
• Prevent loss and damage by responding to emergencies, reporting irregularities, enforcing Park policies and procedures, and restricting access to trespassers.
• Inspect buildings and equipment in line with Department and Park policies and procedures.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, access and exit points to prevent loss of assets, and unauthorized access to property.
• Assist in investigations, complete thorough written reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities; interviews witnesses, and obtains photographs.

Job Requirements:

• Requires excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), excellent reasoning ability and interpersonal skills.
• Leads by example with a demonstrated history of supporting colleagues, a team player.
• At least one year of security and/or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Qualification & Experience:

• Requires the ability to remain calm under pressure. Prior family theme park experience is helpful.
• Strong problem solving skills and dedicated to providing outstanding Guest Service.
• Some college course work is preferred.
• Class D License is recommended.
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent is required.
• Requires the ability to successfully complete CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid training.
