Job Description:

LEGOLAND Florida Resort is a 150-acre interactive theme park dedicated to families with children between the ages of 2 and 12. With more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions, and uniquely themed LEGOLAND Water Park, LEGOLAND Hotel, and LEGOLAND Beach Resort inspired by the LEGO and DUPLO brands, LEGOLAND is geared towards family fun!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads and direct all efforts to conceive, develop and action new Entertainment innovations for Core and Consumer Entertainment offerings under the Entertainment NA strategy including shows, activities, food, merchandise, signage, theming, technical support, casting, and production and budget details.
  • Drive concept and production innovation of new Core and Consumer Entertainment offerings in alignment of the identified multi-year park strategy for Live Entertainment.
  • Ensure design collateral is developed and executed to full Entertainment NA production and development standards.
    Actively participate in many key roles such as Technical Designer, Technical Director, Technical Producer, and Technical Planner during Creative and Production processes.
  • Consistently evaluate, audit, and provide suggestive plus ups for all technical offerings within each LEGOLAND Park to ensure delivery guest satisfaction scores and the North American Entertainment standards for show quality.
  • Act as liaison for resource sharing in product, asset, and process applications.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have familiarity with all production, technical, and operational aspects of show development
  • (5+) Years of proven experience in technical design/development, graphic/scenic rendering, audio and lighting operation and technical planning within budgeting, specking equipment, production schedules and on-site project management.
  • Must have strong partnering, collaborative, and team results skills
  • (5+) Years of experience in Technical Show/Event Production for multiple projects in theme parks, cruise ships, or large-scale events

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ability to travel in the United States. Passport preferred with limited international travel.
  • Ability to work days, nights, and over holidays to support Peak and Off-Peak Entertainment offerings across all Resort functions.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work effectively drilling down high level vision into concept review
  • Proficient in Vectorworks, Microsoft & Adobe software products. Knowledge of purchasing and reporting systems.
  • Proven evaluation & problem-solving skills
  • Trusted leader that guides with integrity and fosters a professional work culture
  • Successfully manage Production budgets including capital projects as assigned
  • Must have strong understanding of all creative and production processes
