Job Description: The Head of Central Planning & Resource role exists to ensure that the Resort is efficiently resourced at all times, across all departments, in line with visitor numbers and available staffing, to deliver a world class guest experience. This role will also be responsible for leading the entire Resort Operations workforce of multiskilled MCs and drive Resort Multiskill program. This role will be a key driver for Continuous Improvement Programs. Job Responsibilities: Support HR recruitment process ensuring resource requirements are provided on a timely basis. Partner with the departments to optimize resource planning requirements for revenue, cost and guest experience. Provide regular communication (at least Weekly) to the Operational Heads of/Directors to ensure resource needs are being adequately met and brainstorm solutions as required. Deliver detailed analysis of budgeted vs Time Scheduled/Time worked including Hours and cost by location on a weekly basis to the SLT. Collaborate with Heads of operations to determine operational efficiency and guest service enhancements, facilitate discussion to reach consensus and communicate recommendations to SLT. Build up and Lead the Central Resource team of Multi-skilled Resort Operations MCs, focusing on training and optimization of skills needed to supply the Resort. Partner/collaborate with the departments to maximize cross skilling to continually optimize resourcing costs, building strong relationships to ensure buy-in. Job Requirements: Ability to utilize sound judgment, discretion and maintain confidentiality is mandatory. Understanding of hospitality environments and roles within operation, food & beverage and retail. Strong operational background with ability to use data to make decisions in real time and communicate them effectively. Must be a Heavy Influencer, People Manager as the Leader of a Multi-Skilled Resort Operations Team. Qualification & Experience: Must be able and willing to work at both strategic and hands-on levels. Requires strong organizational, follow-up, project management and process improvement skills. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Products is required. Dayforce and Cornerstone experience are advantageous. Must be able to present a professional image to internal and external contacts and build relationships with internal team members. Strong leadership skills in a supervisory or management role. Requires demonstrated skill in interpersonal relationships, facilitation and presentations, negotiations, and verbal and written communication.
