Legoland Internship – Hotel Server

Job Description:

Server position will offer friendly and efficient tableside service to all guest.  Takes guest orders and ensure that all items are served properly and on a timely basis.  Assist in the set up and clear down of the front and back of house restaurants operation.  Follows the LEGOLAND Florida safety, sanitations and cleanliness standards and policies.  May work in multiple outlets with Special Events as well. Pay rate is $9.00/hour plus tips.

Job Responsibilities:

• May be responsible for taking, placing and serving orders in a section or multiple sections or areas.
• Must be able to work in both an indoor and outdoor, year-round environment with exposure to a variety of change weather conditions
• Must follow all Florida laws and license restrictions governing the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in the Food & Beverage Department.
• Must be able to work in a very fast paced, multi task environment with extreme temperature changes.
• Assist in the set up and clear down of tables and service stations within the front and back of house.
• Maintains high service standards with children as a primary focus.
• Needs to work with team members to provide a positive guest experience.

Qualification & Experience:

• 2 years serving experience preferred. Experience within a full service restaurant is preferred.
• Hotel Experience Preferred.
• Knowledge of service and cash handling procedures in full service restaurants would also be beneficial.
• This position requires a positive attitude, hospitable nature with a desire to give service on the highest possible level and the ability to work as part of the team.
