Job Description: KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Global Data Governance to join our Global Data Group which is part of KPMG International. Job Responsibilities: Partner with Member Firms and Global Functions communications resources to build awareness and adoption of the Global firm Data Policies and Standards; collaborate with the Technology organization to integrate data standards into the Member Firms and Global Functions SDLC and necessary architectural reviews and funding gates Leads development and release of Global Data Policies and Standards and operational consultation to Member Firms and Global Functions data stakeholders in their implementation of those standards and data usage Provide stewardship and publication of aspects of the Global Data Governance framework and standards Collaborate with the CRTO, CISO, Member Firms and Global Functions to develop Data Standards with a cross functional Global Data Working Group (including: OGC and Risk); these standards should be reflective of currently applied Global and other regulations and professional firm standards; preparation and oversight of the standards for ratification by the Global Data Council (including enforce decisions / effective dates) Publish Data Standards and job aids to create clarity for project teams and functional resources utilizing the global data supply chain; Data Standards refresh and change control processes and relevant change control communications; fielding questions by functional and Member Firms / Global Functions resources relating the data standards Develop a unified set of Member Firms and Global Functions Data policies and standards including Policy and Standard Framework Scope including Standards Statements Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree from an accredited college/university preferred Proven track record influencing diverse sets of stakeholders and driving common outcomes Ability to understand the complexity of a matrixed professional services firm/partnership; proven ability to lead in a matrixed manner; ability to maintain a flexible schedule due to deadlines and/or duties outside of normal business hours due to global nature of the role Minimum ten years of recent leadership experience working within data governance or similar organizations Familiar with regulatory data Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to foster the development of high-performance teams; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; must be able to set and execute strategic initiatives for the organization; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions; ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs Job Details: Company: KPMG US Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: New York, NY, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
