Knotts Berry Farm Hiring – Host

Job Description:

A Host is the first person a guest interacts with upon entering a restaurant. They must be friendly and welcoming upon guest arrival. They interact with guest to obtain information regarding their party size to seat them in a timely manner; answer the phone and schedules reservations based upon availability of the restaurant; walk guest to their tables and provide menus; and assist servers when help is needed with drinks and highchairs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Tends to guests special needs and requests.
• Manages the flow of guests into the dining area, provides accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.
• Seats guests at tables in a timely manner to keep the wait time low
• Greets incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
• Answers incoming calls to the restaurant and provides appropriate service

Qualification & Experience:

• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
