Job Description:
As a Workforce Relations Specialist for John Deere located in Moline, IL, you will primarily focus on Human Resources (HR) policy and process report related activities. This will include work such as Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) process work, Conflict of Interest reporting, Employee Survey administration, Global Performance Management administration and Talent Planning reports. In addition, you will:
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for specialized processes within the HROC
- Provide input to Supervisor on the changes required for continuous improvement
- Contribute new, revised or updated process information to maintain data accuracy in order to support our customers and the HR Operations Center (HROC) team
- Provide initial contact and support for customers dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Provide customer support that generates a high level of customer satisfaction by effective communication, knowledge and escalation to resolve issues
- Assist in the resolution of highly complex and escalated workforce administration issues and situations
- Serve as a process Subject Matter Expert and help support process improvement and design
Qualification & Experience:
- Collaborative team player with a strong drive to create a positive John Deere employee experience
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to drive results amidst competing priorities
- Solutions- focused and forward thinking with an ability to handle ambiguity in a fast- paced environment; ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities
- Experience with HR policies and processes
- Experience identifying complex problems to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Strong analytical, problem- solving and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with experience with relaying information to customers or stakeholders
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, HR or Communications discipline
