An opportunity exists to support this dynamic organization as a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Disney Financial Systems team based in London, UK.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participates in training development and provides end user training
• Works with EMEA Process Leads to determine technical feasibility and priority / impact.
• Applies knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles to our systems and business processes
• Supports end users and responds to issues (data or process);
• Takes appropriate action to research, troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Performs enhancement testing and participate in major system release testing as required.
• Facilitates requirements gathering sessions
• Supports the governance and monitoring of finance system compliance in accordance with company policies & standards as well as local statutory and SOX requirements
• Assists in preparing enhancement documentation as required.
• Keeps abreast of technology and solutions for key finance processes and business analytics
• Works with the client groups to identify system enhancement requirements and opportunities for process improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in service delivery in a high performing customer service and support organization with demonstrated expertise in reporting and analyzing metrics to support continuous improvement in service levels
• Experience in achievement of specified tasks and solving problems of moderate complexity with minimal guidance within service level agreement (SLA) parameters, while providing a positive experience for customers
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in managing projects of smaller scale, budget and risk and implementing change initiatives as a technical expert within a specified product or process area

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in using SAP or another ERP
• Ability to work within a matrix organization
• Experience implementing financial processes and systems
• Experience in using Business Warehouse, Business Objects and/or Cognos reporting tools
• Experienced in using the Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
• Experience delivering training to end users
• Understands business processes and is able to develop and assist in the implementation of business process and/or technology solutions.
• Experience developing and delivering end user training
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
