Job Description:

Individuals in this position will function at a senior expert level to develop and implement security tools in a 24/7/365 operations environment, ensuring the security and protection of systems data and formulating and implementing procedures and systems to ensure the protection, conservation, and accountability of proprietary, personal, or privileged electronic data. The individuals will work in a leadership capacity, working directly with other departments to develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures.The individuals will work directly with Platform Support, Cyber Defense Support, and ISO-Change teams, analyzing issues/incidents, establishing/working war rooms, diagnosing issue severity, computing problem resolution and recovery. These individuals will resolve or work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve issues. If unable to do so, they will, in collaboration with the SMEs, determine the escalation of issues.

This position requires the ability to work hours mirroring the hours of teammates, as directed, typically starting at 8:00 am CST. This position will also require availability to work on-call and non-standard hours when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with director, managers, and other technical personnel to ensure mitigation of risks to the company
  • Serves as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) for HyTrust Platform
  • Develops and oversees the development of innovative approaches and solutions to complex problems and issues
  • Provides analysis of and suggested solutions to complex issues, as well as complex conceptual analysis
  • Mentors and coaches cyber security individuals to provide guidance and expertise, promoting continued integration of technological advances to further enhance security
  • Serves in a leadership capacity, formulating and implementing procedures and systems
  • Determine the severity and complexity of issues pertaining to the security and protection of systems data, (either alone or as part of a team) to ensure the protections, conservation and accountability of proprietary, personal, or privileged electronic data
  • Collaborates with director, managers, project managers, architects, and other technical leads to ensure continuity and communication across teams
  • Oversees the monitoring and responses to security incidents, offering expertise to ensure prompt and effective resolution

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and keep required (government and other) security clearances
  • 2 or more years’ experience with VMWare / PowerShell

Qualification & Experience:

  • 2 or more years’ experience with HyTrust or other info security platform
  • 2 or more years of Linux Administration & Troubleshooting
  • 2 or more years of Windows Server Administration & Troubleshooting
